Linden multi-car crash critically injures infant and two adults

A violent multi-vehicle crash on the 200 block of East Linden Avenue in Linden, New Jersey, left four people injured on Monday afternoon. The incident involved an out-of-control SUV that struck several vehicles, including a parked car and a sedan.

Two adults and an infant were critically injured and transported to University Hospital in Newark. A third adult sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Surveillance footage from the scene captured the sound of the impact and a vehicle spinning down the street, losing its front bumper.

Witnesses and video footage suggest the crash may have been part of a police pursuit, as marked police vehicles were seen following a dark SUV moments before the collision. Officers arrived at the scene with guns drawn and surrounded the vehicle. Union County police are leading the investigation into the cause of the crash and the identities of those involved.
