Lindners Boxenstopp wins German Workshop Prize 2026

Lindners Boxenstopp, an automotive business based in Veitshöchheim near Würzburg, has been awarded the German Workshop Prize 2026. The award, presented by the industry magazine kfz-betrieb, recognizes independent workshops that excel in customer service, workshop management, technology, and marketing.

Founded in 2015 by Markus Lindner with 5,000 euros in startup capital, the company has grown from a single barn-based operation into a group with three locations and 45 employees. A key differentiator for the business is its strategic focus on commercial clients and vehicle fleets rather than primarily private vehicle owners.

In addition to its workshop services, the company has expanded through acquisitions, including a Volkswagen service partner dealership in early 2026. Lindner has also developed proprietary software that includes a customer portal for commercial clients, providing transparency into workshop processes.
