Lindsay Brown music memorabilia collection to be auctioned

A collection of over 300 rare music memorabilia items, assembled over five decades by industry veteran Lindsay Brown, will be auctioned at Omega Auctions in Merseyside on September 15, 2026.

Brown’s career includes senior roles at Polydor and Eagle Rock Entertainment, where he managed visual rights for The Rolling Stones. The auction features several high-value items, including a rare poster from a 1970 Ewell Technical College concert featuring Atomic Rooster, Genesis, and Nick Drake, which is expected to exceed £5,000. This is noted as potentially the first such poster to reach the open market.

Other notable items include a David Arnott-designed Black Sabbath poster valued at over £1,000 and a large poster commemorating the New York Dolls’ first UK performance in London in 1973.
