Lindsay Davis disrupts Santa Monica City Council debate

Lindsay “Daisy” Davis, a Santa Monica City Council candidate, disrupted a recent political debate by storming the stage in front of her rivals. Davis, who identifies as the “Venice Healer” and uses her experience with homelessness as a central part of her political identity, entered the stage from the audience with a microphone.

During her appearance, Davis engaged in unconventional behavior, including performing rapid-fire self-introductions and attempting to lead the audience and fellow candidates through breathing and stretching exercises. At one point, she removed her red top while holding a skateboard to facilitate the wellness routine.

Davis has previously been active in the Venice community, where she was involved in a disputed tiny-home project on the Venice Boardwalk that was dismantled in 2024.
