Lindsay Hansen faces hate crime and stalking charges in San Jose
Lindsay Hansen, 47, of San Jose, appeared in court on Tuesday to face felony stalking and hate crime charges. The charges stem from a viral video in which Hansen allegedly harassed a father and his young daughter.
According to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, Hansen falsely accused the man of sex trafficking his child due to differences in their skin colors. The recorded confrontation involved Hansen yelling from her vehicle while filming the pair. Authorities state that Hansen had allegedly confronted the father and child on multiple occasions, including questioning the father's legal status in the country.
Prosecutors noted that Hansen was out on bail for an unrelated case at the time of the alleged September incident. That previous case involved allegations that she made social media posts threatening to kill a former employer and their children. Hansen also faces accusations regarding the unauthorized recording of students in a high school locker room.
