Lindsey Vonn confirms relationship with French skier Matthieu Bailet

American alpine skiing icon Lindsey Vonn has officially confirmed her relationship with French skier Matthieu Bailet. After months of speculation, the 41-year-old Olympic champion shared a series of intimate vacation photos on Instagram, including images of the couple kissing in a pool and relaxing together by the sea.

Vonn captioned the post, “About that time for a summer recap… pt 1,” accompanied by the song “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” by Olivia Dean. Bailet, 30, a specialist in speed disciplines like downhill and super-G, responded to the post by expressing anticipation for “part two.”

The announcement comes as Vonn continues her physical recovery following a severe leg injury sustained during the 2026 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The pair had previously been spotted together in New York City in May, which first fueled rumors of a romance.
