Lindsey Vonn flaunts bikini as she recovers from 2026 Olympic crash

Olympic ski champion Lindsey Vonn posted a series of Instagram photos showing her in a tiny red bikini while paddle‑boarding in the Mediterranean. The images, shared on August 5, highlight her physical recovery after the catastrophic crash in the women’s downhill at the 2026 Milan‑Cortina Winter Olympics, which left her with a complex tibia fracture, a broken ankle and compartment syndrome that nearly required amputation.

Vonn, who retired in 2019 and returned to competition in 2024, said Dr. Tom Hackett performed a lifesaving fasciotomy to relieve pressure in her leg. She has since resumed training and is using the social‑media posts to celebrate her progress and thank supporters.
