Lindsey Walker diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin lymphoma
Lindsey Walker, a woman from St. Louis, Missouri, was diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin lymphoma after initially mistaking her symptoms for heat exhaustion. In May 2018, while living in Atlanta, Walker experienced intense sweating, particularly at night, which she attributed to the summer heat and high temperatures.
As her condition progressed, she developed flu-like symptoms and eventually experienced severe respiratory distress. Upon seeking medical attention, doctors discovered a large mass in her chest that was surrounding her heart, causing her breathing difficulties. Following a biopsy in July 2018, she received the diagnosis of the blood cancer.
