Lindt and the German retailer Edeka have concluded negotiations, ensuring that Lindt chocolate products will be available in Edeka stores for the upcoming Christmas season.

As part of this agreement, Lindt is launching a price offensive driven by a recent decline in cocoa costs. The classic 125g Lindt Christmas Santa will be priced at 5.49 euros, down from 5.99 euros last year. Other seasonal varieties, including nut, salt-caramel, and cinnamon flavors, will see a more significant reduction, dropping from 6.99 euros to 5.49 euros. Lindt aims to have more than 75 percent of its Christmas assortment priced under ten euros.

Michal Spiller, Lindt's head in Germany, noted that while the full impact of lower raw material costs will not be completely realized by the company until 2027, they intend to pass these savings to customers during the current season.
