LINE Yahoo has launched ‘Expert AI’, a new service within its ‘Agent i’ AI agent platform that utilizes the specialized knowledge of contributors from ‘Yahoo! News Expert’. The service aims to provide users with information and advice that reflects the specific perspectives and thought processes of various experts.

The first iteration of this service is the ‘Furao Recipe’ agent, based on the expertise of culinary researcher Furao. By interacting with the AI, users can input their current mood or available ingredients—such as ‘I don’t want to think today’ or ‘I have pork and cabbage in the fridge’—and receive a single, optimized recipe suggestion.

Unlike standard recipe searches that provide multiple options, this agent is designed to reduce decision fatigue by selecting one specific dish based on the expert’s established cooking philosophy. The AI also provides direct links to the original articles written by the expert to ensure users can access detailed instructions and tips.
