Linggi constituency focus on flood relief and fishermen aid

Pakatan Harapan (PH) leader Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun is contesting the Linggi seat in Negeri Sembilan, citing a desire to alleviate poverty and improve living standards. He highlighted the ongoing Rancangan Tebatan Banjir (RTB) project on the Linggi River, which has reduced flooding in several areas, and stressed that the constituency is a swing seat against the Barisan Nasional (BN) stronghold.

Umno's Datuk Mohd Faizal Ramli, the incumbent ADUN for Linggi, emphasised his long‑term commitment to the welfare of local fishermen. He has facilitated the provision of nets, boats and engines, and responded swiftly to damage caused by a tropical storm, helping restore fishing operations. Both politicians present their local development plans ahead of the upcoming state election.
