Linhares FC wins 3-0 as Karen Loureiro makes history

Linhares FC secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Doze in the Série B of the Campeonato Capixaba, extending their lead in the Centro-Norte group to 15 points—a five-point margin over the second-placed Doze.

The match was marked by a historic milestone as Karen Loureiro made her debut as the first woman to manage a professional men's football team in Espírito Santo. Loureiro, a 25-year-old assistant coach, stepped in to lead the squad while head coach Yupi Silva served a suspension.

Linhares FC controlled the game from the start. Amorim opened the scoring in the 10th minute, followed by a goal from defender Jefferson Palácios in the 40th minute. Lucas Titol sealed the win with a penalty in the second half. With this result, Linhares FC is positioned strongly for the semifinals.
