Linkin Park releases live album and documentary about band's return

Linkin Park has released “Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo)”, a 20-track live album recorded during the band's November 2024 performances at Allianz Parque in Brazil. The album serves as the official soundtrack for the documentary “Linkin Park: Unshatter”, directed by band member Joe Hahn, which is scheduled for a global theatrical release on September 30.

The documentary and live recording document the band's reconstruction and return to the stage following the 2017 death of lead singer Chester Bennington. It highlights the group's new era, featuring vocalist Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain, and covers the period from 2022 studio sessions through the release of their album “From Zero”.

In addition to the musical content, the film explores the band's journey through loss and uncertainty. During a recent premiere event in Los Angeles, member Mike Shinoda revealed that Blink-182's Mark Hoppus participated in studio sessions for the “From Zero” era, though his vocals were ultimately not included in the final recordings.
