Linn Svahn aims for overall cross-country skiing World Cup title

Linn Svahn, a prominent Swedish cross-country skier and sprint specialist, has expressed her ambition to compete in all distances to pursue the overall World Cup title. While Svahn has achieved significant success as a sprinter, including a World Cup breakthrough in Davos during the 2019/2020 season and Olympic gold, no Swedish female skier has yet won the overall World Cup title.

Historically, Swedish success has been concentrated in sprint events, with many athletes focusing on specific training periods for major championships rather than competing across all distances.
