Linsengericht Mayor and Michael Reul agree on cooperation

CDU state parliament member Michael Reul met with the new mayor of Linsengericht, Markus Betz, to establish a partnership aimed at supporting the municipality and its approximately 9,700 residents. The discussion focused on local projects, infrastructure modernization, and rural development.

Reul highlighted the financial support provided by the CDU-led state government in Hesse. He noted that the Municipal Financial Equalization (KFA) is set to reach a record 7.405 billion euros in 2026, with a projected increase to 7.532 billion euros in 2027. Additionally, Reul pointed to the Hessian Investment Fund, which offers approximately 459 million euros in loans for municipal investments in 2026, as well as federal infrastructure funds available through the state.
