Linus undergoes surgery to remove epithelioma from ear
Radio Deejay artistic director and host Linus has announced he underwent surgery to remove an epithelioma from his ear. He shared the news on social media to prevent concern from his audience, noting that he will appear on television with a bandage for approximately ten days.
Using humor, Linus compared his upcoming appearance on ‘Deejay Chiama Italia’ to the painter Vincent van Gogh. While he joked about the ‘Van Gogh style’ look, he emphasized that epitheliomas are common skin tumors that should not be underestimated.
Epitheliomas typically originate in the epithelial tissue and often appear in areas frequently exposed to ultraviolet rays, such as the face, ears, and neck. Medical experts note that while these lesions are often slow-growing and treatable through surgical removal, regular dermatological checks are essential.
