Lionel Messi owns MiM luxury hotel chain in Spain and Andorra

Lionel Messi has established a luxury boutique hotel chain known as MiM Hotels, operating six locations across Spain and Andorra. The portfolio consists of 444 rooms in total, distributed among properties in Sitges, Ibiza, Mallorca, Baqueira, Sotogrande, and Andorra.

Rather than football-themed attractions, these establishments focus on high-end experiences related to the sea, mountains, or golf. The largest property is MiM Baqueira with 137 rooms, followed by MiM Mallorca with 98 and MiM Sitges with 77. The smaller locations include MiM Ibiza, MiM Sotogrande, and MiM Andorra.

Messi owns the hotels through a family company but does not manage daily operations. Since November 2025, the management and operation of these properties have been entrusted to Meliá Hotels International, with the locations joining The Meliá Collection.
