Lionel Messi selects management team for Eldense

Lionel Messi is shaping a new management team for Eldense, the Spanish club he has recently acquired. The ownership transition is currently awaiting validation from the Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD).

Messi is considering Pablo García Montañés and Alfonso Nebot as key executives for the club. García Montañés has a professional background with institutions such as Bankinter, Deloitte, and Andorra Banc Agrícol Reig SA, and was previously involved with UE Cornellà, another club acquired by Messi. Nebot serves as a member of the Andbank group board and has been the Director of the Leo Messi Family Office since 2009.

Both executives recently attended a match at the Nuevo Pepico Amat alongside the Mayor of Elda, Rubén Alfaro. Eldense coach Javier Calleja noted that the technical staff and players are maintaining regular contact with the incoming management.
