The incident led Live Nation to postpone the next two U.S. concerts scheduled for Chicago on June 26 and Columbus, Ohio, on June 27, citing doctors' advice for rest. Richie resumed performing a week later in Pittsburgh, joking with the audience about his recent health scare.

The tour, comprising 26 dates through August 14, continues across the United States despite the brief interruption.
