Lioness season 3 attracts 7.1 million viewers upon launch

The third season of the espionage series ‘Lioness’, created by Taylor Sheridan, has achieved strong viewership numbers following its release on Paramount+. Within its first seven days of streaming, the premiere episode attracted over 7.1 million viewers, surpassing the launch performance of the second season.

In the United States, the series ranked as the second most-watched original streaming series during the week of August 2 to August 8. The show also saw significant social media engagement, generating 6.9 million views across social platforms in early August. On SkyShowtime in Europe, the third season's launch also exceeded the performance of previous seasons.

The series, starring Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, and Morgan Freeman, follows agents involved in high-risk clandestine operations. Recent plot developments in the third season have highlighted technical details, such as the use of ‘FBO’ (Fixed Base Operator) facilities, which play a critical role in the narrative involving the character Joe McNamara.
