Lioness Season 3 premieres on Paramount+

The third season of the Paramount+ spy thriller series Lioness, created by Taylor Sheridan, has premiered. The season follows two distinct timelines. One timeline, set six months prior, depicts a high-stakes extraction operation in Donetsk where Joe McNamara (Zoe Saldaña) and her team target Aleksi Yurimov, a high-ranking Russian official.

The second timeline occurs six months after the operation, beginning with Joe being abducted by Russian operatives on American soil. During her captivity, agents remove a tracking device hidden in her foot before transporting her for interrogation. The storyline explores potential breaches within the CIA and the personal toll of the mission on Joe's family.

Season 3 consists of eight episodes, with new installments releasing weekly on Sundays via Paramount+. Following the premiere on August 2, 2026, the third episode is scheduled for release on August 16, 2026.
