Paramount+ unveils Lioness Season 3 trailer ahead of Aug 2, 2026 debut

Paramount+ released the official trailer for the espionage thriller Lioness Season 3, confirming a premiere on August 2, 2026. The preview shows CIA operative Joe McNamara (Zoe Saldaña) confronting a mission that becomes increasingly personal, as hidden networks, foreign operatives and betrayals encroach on her home life.

The trailer highlights guidance from Kaitlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman) and Byron Westfield (Michael Kelly), and features the series’ ensemble cast including Morgan Freeman, Laysla De Oliveira and others. Notable lines include Joe telling her daughters, “I am a soldier, and a soldier’s job is to fight,” and the closing remark, “May God have mercy on us.”

Paramount+ also announced that Lioness Season 3 will be part of its August lineup, alongside five new films, marking the series as the flagship offering for the month.
