Italian service clubs elect new presidents and leaders

A series of leadership transitions took place across several Italian and one Turkish service clubs in June 2026. The Rotary Club of Crema handed the presidency to Monica Nichetti, while the Rotary Club of Lecco elected Massimo Dell’Oro as its new president. In Garbagnate Milanese, Mario Marone assumed the Rotary Club presidency for the 2026‑2028 biennium. The Interact District 2102 Calabria installed Hermes Praticò as its new district representative.

Lions clubs also reported changes: Giuseppe Venuto became president of Lions Club Imperia Host, Martino Grassi took over Lions Club Fasano, and Matteo Mercuri and Francesco Neri were elected presidents of Lions Club Terni Host and Leo Club Terni respectively. A new Leo Club, Roccalumera Quasimodo Val Demone, was chartered with Federico Mastroeni as president. The Rotary District 2101 Congress in Caserta highlighted the Benevento club’s awards and passed the district governorship to Giuseppe Nardini.

These events reflect routine succession rituals within the Rotary, Lions, and Interact networks, emphasizing continuity of service and community projects across the involved clubs.
