Lions Club Governor Christian Bousquet visits Ayacucho

Christian Bousquet, the District O 3 Governor of the Lions Club, visited Ayacucho to meet with local members and participate in activities with Leo Club youth. During his visit, Bousquet emphasized the critical challenge of recruiting new members, specifically targeting younger generations to ensure the institution's future.

Bousquet noted that while the Ayacucho Lions Club has seen some recent growth, there is a general lack of volunteerism across many institutions. He highlighted that many people, particularly those aged 18 to 35, are only aware of the organization when they require specific services, such as orthopedic aids, vision assistance, or diabetes campaigns.

To address this, the five Lions Club governors in Argentina have agreed to focus on a global cause related to vision to strengthen the organization's presence. The District is also increasing its focus on communication and marketing to better promote its community work and increase visibility.
