Lions Club hosts first aid training in Vasto Marina

The Lions Club of Vasto and San Salvo organized a first aid awareness and training event titled ‘Viva Sofia – Due mani per la vita’ at Vasto Marina on August 21. Led by Dr. Daniele Donigaglia, the initiative aimed to provide citizens with practical skills to handle medical emergencies.

The training focused on several critical life-saving techniques, including pediatric airway obstruction relief and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) through cardiac massage demonstrations. Participants also received instruction on the proper use of semi-automatic external defibrillators (AED) to help reduce hesitation during cardiac arrest situations.
