Lions Clubs in Italy elect new presidents

The Lions Club of Asti Host held its traditional end‑of‑year ceremony on 19 June, during which outgoing president Paolo Camagna handed the club’s leadership to Piercarlo Stella for the 2026‑2027 term. Stella, an engineer affiliated with the Italian Professional Association of Environment and Safety, outlined his goals and urged members to continue the club’s service‑oriented mission.

In Grosseto, the Lions Club Grosseto Host marked its 69th anniversary with a similar “passaggio della campana”. Outgoing president Andrea Coscarelli passed the baton to Gloria Mazzi, the first woman to lead the club in its history. Under Coscarelli the club served 405 people, contributed 1,010 service hours and donated $12,670. Mazzi, a pianist and music teacher, pledged to build on the club’s community projects and cultural initiatives.
