Lions Clubs launch charitable initiatives in Italy

Various Lions Club chapters in Italy are conducting charitable initiatives to support vulnerable populations.

In Vasto, the Lions Club Vasto Host has relaunched the ‘Zaino sospeso’ (Suspended Backpack) initiative. This program collects school supplies such as notebooks, pens, and backpacks through designated collection points in local businesses. The donated materials are distributed via municipal social services and local charities to assist families facing economic difficulties in preparing children for the new school year.

In Quistello, the Lions Club Mantova Terre Matildiche organized a fundraiser during the San Bartolomeo festival. The club sold handmade items to raise funds for Casa del Sole di Curtatone, an organization dedicated to assisting people with disabilities. All proceeds from the event are being donated to support the facility's services.
