Lions Clubs sign friendship pact in San Pietro Vernotico

The Lions Club of San Pietro Vernotico and the Lions Club of Galatina Galatone Terre dell’Asso have officially signed a ‘Patto di Amicizia’ (Pact of Friendship). This agreement formalizes a collaborative relationship that has been developing for over two years.

The pact aims to strengthen ties between the two territories through shared service, leveraging common historical, cultural, and economic roots, including shared religious devotion and viticulture traditions. The initiative seeks to create new opportunities for community service in alignment with international Lionism ideals.

As part of the proceedings, the delegation visited the Domenico Modugno Museum in San Pietro Vernotico, where Cosimo Modugno, the artist's nephew, provided insights into the cultural legacy of the renowned Italian singer.
