Sicily Lions International names Antonella Morreale district officer for 2026‑27

Lions International announced the start of its 2026‑27 social year in Sicily with the appointment of Antonella Morreale as district officer. Governor Giuseppe Walter Buscema highlighted her experience for coordinating events such as a theatre production marking the district’s 30‑year anniversary, under the motto “We serve”. The opening convention is scheduled for 17‑18 July 2026 in Enna.

In the same district, Leo clubs reported the end of Calogero Spallino’s term as delegate of the V Area Operative, praising two years of charitable projects, new club formations and community outreach. New leadership includes Marta Castelli as president of District Leo 108 YB Sicily and the creation of three new Leo clubs, reflecting continued growth of youth service activities across the island.
