Lions Rugby targets URC home semi-final

Scrumhalf Nico Steyn stated that after achieving the goal of finishing in the top eight last season, the team is now targeting a home semi-final at Ellis Park.

The Johannesburg-based side is set to open their campaign with a high-profile match against Leinster at Ellis Park, a rematch of last season’s quarter-final where the Lions suffered a 59-10 defeat in Dublin. To support these goals, the team has invested in squad depth to compete against major rivals such as the Bulls and Stormers.
