Lionsgate announces ‘The Housemaid’s Secret’ sequel starring Sydney Sweeney

Lionsgate is moving forward with a sequel to the thriller film ‘The Housemaid’, based on the bestselling novel by Freida McFadden. The upcoming adaptation, titled ‘The Housemaid’s Secret’, will feature Sydney Sweeney returning as Millie and Michele Morrone as Enzo.

New cast additions for the sequel include Kirsten Dunst as Mrs. Garrick, Paul Anthony Kelly, and Stephen Kalyn as Brock. While Amanda Seyfried’s character, Nina, may not play a central role, Seyfried has expressed interest in returning for a cameo.

The original film, directed by Paul Feig, follows Millie as she becomes a housekeeper for a wealthy couple, leading to a series of manipulations and secrets. The sequel is expected to focus on the Garrick family.
