L’Ippocampo to open new bookshops in Milan and Rome

L’Ippocampo Edizioni, a publishing house specializing in illustrated books for adults and children, has announced the opening of two new physical retail spaces in Italy.

In Milan, a temporary store will open on November 12 at Corso Magenta 69, located within the company’s headquarters near Santa Maria delle Grazie. This boutique will remain open until January 31, 2027, and will feature dedicated spaces for MinaLima and Marin Montagut products.

In Rome, the project ‘La Libreria che non c’è’, created in collaboration with the independent bookstore Altroquando, will reopen permanently at Corso Vittorio Emanuele II 153. The space, designed with a Victorian bookshop aesthetic, is scheduled to host its official opening on November 14.

Both locations will host a series of events featuring various authors. French artist and designer Marin Montagut is set to attend the inauguration ceremonies for both the Milan and Rome locations.
