Liris Crosse faces criticism on Project Runway

During a recent episode of Project Runway titled ‘Battle of the Seasons’, model Liris Crosse faced criticism following an unconventional materials challenge. Designer Bryan Barrientos, who entered the challenge with immunity, created a garment for Crosse using spray-painted rubber cords and packing tape.

The design received negative feedback from judges, including Heidi Klum, Law Roach, Nina Garcia, and guest judge Imanal. Fellow designers also questioned Barrientos's design choices, noting that he failed to develop a strong look or consider Crosse's body type. Despite feedback from mentor Christian Siriano during the process, the final result was widely panned.
