LIS GmbH starts apprenticeship for four trainees in Greven

On 3 August, LIS Logistische Informationssysteme GmbH welcomed four new apprentices at its headquarters in Greven, Germany. The cohort includes two future Fachinformatiker for application development and two for system integration, bringing the company's total to 13 apprentices and six dual‑study students.

Personalleitung Korina Stockmann said the program is an investment in the firm’s future, describing the apprenticeships as a central element of long‑term personnel development. The first day featured a company presentation, equipment hand‑over, a tour of the site and a joint lunch, emphasizing personal support and early responsibility.

Within the software development department, six dual students are employed—three have already completed their training while three combine study with work. The IT department also hosts six apprentices, and the Customer Excellence Center adds four further trainees.
