Lisa Diana Tambunan, mother of actress Marsha Aruan, passes away

Lisa Diana Tambunan, the mother of Indonesian actress Marsha Aruan, passed away on Monday morning, October 19, 2026, at the age of 58.

According to her nephew, Benjamin, the family had been focused on intensive medical treatment for her over the past two months. Her condition declined suddenly when she experienced shortness of breath and a drop in blood oxygen saturation. Medical examinations revealed acute respiratory distress caused by a bacterial infection in her lungs.

Following a wake at the RS Ukrida funeral home in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, she was buried on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the Tanah Kusir cemetery in South Jakarta. She was laid to rest in the same grave as her husband.
