Lisardo Sánchez residence nears completion of first renovation phase

The Hogar Lisardo Sánchez residence, located near Badajoz, has nearly completed the first phase of a major renovation project. The facility, which provides care for 30 elderly residents, is undergoing an integral reform to comply with current regulations.

The total project is budgeted at approximately 800,000 euros. To date, about 300,000 euros have been contributed, leaving a funding gap of roughly 500,000 euros. Sister Blanca Rocío Botero, a representative of the center, noted that this required amount could increase if unforeseen needs arise during the execution of the remaining phases.

The renovation is being conducted in three stages to allow the residence to remain operational. Once the first phase is fully functional, residents from the central area will move to the new facilities, allowing work to begin on the second phase of the architectural adaptation.
