Lisbon begins repaving Avenida da Liberdade

Repaving work is scheduled to begin on Lisbon's Avenida da Liberdade starting Monday. The project will be carried out in phases over approximately two weeks, with work occurring at night between 21:00 and 05:00.

The initial phase covers the stretch between Praça dos Restauradores and Rua Barata Salgueiro. During these hours, traffic will be diverted to the side lanes. While light vehicles will use these side routes, bus services are expected to continue without changes. This intervention is part of a broader city-wide paving process involving an investment of approximately 8 million euros this year to address long-standing maintenance issues.
