Lisbon celebrates Mexican Día de los Muertos with cultural events

Lisbon is hosting various cultural celebrations for Día de los Muertos, the Mexican tradition honoring deceased loved ones through vibrant festivities.

The Hyatt Regency Lisboa, in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico in Portugal, is hosting a sensory cultural experience from October 29 to 31. The event features a collaborative gastronomic journey led by Chef Ricardo Bizarro and Mexican Chef Eric Daniel González Torres, offering a fusion menu of Mexican and Portuguese flavors.

Additionally, the brand Jose Cuervo is launching a “Taste the Other Side” campaign across Portugal on October 30 and 31. The initiative includes themed decorations and cocktails in various venues, a promotional offer on cocktails, and a central celebration on October 31 at Lodo no Cais in Lisbon. The brand is also releasing limited-edition bottles inspired by traditional Mexican offerings.
