Lisbon City Council to convert former government building into 90 homes
The Lisbon City Council plans to convert the former Presidency of the Council of Ministers building in Campo de Ourique into approximately 90 residential units. The project involves an estimated investment exceeding 20 million euros.
According to Vice-President Gonçalo Reis, the municipality is in the process of formalizing a surface rights agreement with Estamo, the state-owned real estate management company. The new housing, primarily consisting of one-bedroom apartments (T1), is intended for professionals in the security, health, and education sectors who require accessible housing while performing their duties.
