Lisbon hosts Europe's largest LEGO exhibition

Lisbon is hosting Europe’s largest LEGO exhibition at the Cordoaria Nacional. Spanning 2,000 square meters, the display features over 120 models constructed from approximately 15 million LEGO pieces.

Notable attractions include a replica of the Air Force One Boeing 747, which measures 11 meters long, 10 meters wide, and 3 meters high. This specific model is estimated to consist of roughly one million pieces and was built by a six-person team over six months. Other massive structures include a Spinosaurus made of 900,000 pieces, a medieval dragon known as the ‘Great Red Dragon’, and a cruise ship-inspired model called ‘King of the Seas’ built from over 700,000 pieces.

The exhibition covers various themes, including cinema, sports, science, and the Star Wars universe, alongside educational displays regarding biology and geography. The event is open to both children and adults and is scheduled to run until January 2027.
