Lisbon Ladies Night Fest and Gavião Heritage Forum Showcase Portugal's Cultural Events

On 11 September, the gardens of Lisbon's MACAM museum hosted the Ladies Night Fest, a culinary celebration highlighting women chefs such as Louise Bourrat, Justa Nobre, Adjoké Bakaré, Angélica Salvador and Lara Figueiredo. The evening combined haute cuisine, wine tastings, live music, art installations and performances, with food trucks and an after‑party at the museum’s live‑arts bar.

From 17 to 19 July, the town of Gavião marked the first anniversary of the Museum of Art and Harnessing (MAAG) by organizing the inaugural Iberian forum on hipomóvel heritage. The three‑day programme featured institutional sessions, thematic panels on preservation, equestrian tourism and association roles, and culminated in the presentation of the Gavião Declaration 2026, aiming to establish a trans‑border network for horse‑drawn vehicle heritage across Portugal and Spain.
