Lisbon Municipality building selected for April 25 Interpretive Center
The April 25 Interpretive Center, dedicated to the Carnation Revolution, will be established in a Lisbon Municipality building located near Campo das Cebolas at Rua Instituto Virgílio Machado, 10. This decision follows a period of political impasse regarding the center's location.
Vasco Lourenço, president of the April 25 Association, stated that the chosen building requires significant renovation. Prime Minister Luís Montenegro has committed the government to funding all necessary expenses for both the building's renovation and the implementation of the center. Additionally, President António José Seguro has expressed his full commitment to the project's creation. Future discussions are expected between the government, the Lisbon Municipality, and the April 25 Association.
