Lisbon music scene sees new electronic event and artist returns

Lisbon's music scene is seeing new developments with the launch of 'please do not disturb', a new electronic music event concept by promoter Sodade. The project aims to minimize distractions by encouraging attendees to disconnect from mobile phones to focus on the audiovisual experience. The first edition is scheduled for December 19 at LX Fábricas, featuring French DJ and producer RIVO as the headliner.

In other musical news, artist Joshua Idehen, who performed at the MEO Kalorama festival, is returning to Lisbon for a concert at Casa Capitão on October 1. Collaborating with Ludvig Parment, Idehen's work blends pop and house music, focusing on themes of human connection and challenging industry norms regarding musical success.
