Lisbon Stock Exchange opens higher led by Jerónimo Martins

Jerónimo Martins led the gains, with its shares increasing by approximately 1.1%. Other notable performers included Mota-Engil, which rose by 0.74%, and Banco Comercial Português (BCP), which climbed 0.73%. In contrast, the energy sector saw declines, specifically with EDP and EDP Renováveis, which both traded lower. This movement occurred alongside broader European market activity, where indices like the DAX and CAC 40 also showed gains, while the FTSE 100 experienced a slight decrease.
