Lisbon to host major wine and gastronomy events in late 2026

Lisbon is set to host several significant culinary and wine events. The third edition of Lisbon Insiders Restaurant Week will run from October 19 to November 8, 2026. The event features 47 selected restaurants offering exclusive menus across three thematic weeks. The first week focuses on Portuguese heritage, while the second week, titled ‘New Wave’, highlights contemporary chefs and creative gastronomic concepts.

Additionally, from November 7 to 15, the city will host the 27th edition of Essência do Vinho – Lisboa and the second edition of Chefs Week Lisboa. This program brings together over 300 wine producers and more than 30 restaurants, featuring chefs from Portugal, Brazil, and Spain. The festivities will take place at locations including the Lisbon Congress Centre and the Ajuda National Palace. The State of Rio de Janeiro will serve as the guest of honor, strengthening tourism and gastronomic ties between Portugal and Brazil.
