Liskeard murder investigation leads to four arrests

Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Liskeard. Officers responded to a report shortly before 9:30 pm on Sunday, September 13, after a man was found deceased within a property at Baytree Hill.

Four suspects have been arrested on suspicion of murder. These include a local man in his 30s arrested at the scene, two local men in their 40s and 50s, and a man in his 20s from Plymouth. All four individuals remain in police custody.

The victim is believed to be a man in his 50s from Liskeard, though formal identification has not yet been completed. Detective Inspector Pete Gee stated that while there will be an increased police presence in the town, there is no wider threat to the community at this time.
