L'Isola dei Famosi overhauls format with new host and Philippine setting

Italy’s long‑running reality series L'Isola dei Famosi is set for a major revamp. Journalist and author Selvaggia Lucarelli will take over as host, succeeding Veronica Gentili. Production will move from Honduras to the Philippines, and for the first time the show will be pre‑recorded rather than broadcast live, eliminating real‑time televoting.

The announced line‑up mixes veteran reality participants with social‑media figures. Among the rumored entrants is Anna Lou Castoldi, the daughter of Morgan and Asia Argento, whose inclusion has drawn particular attention. Other names cited include Patrick Ray Pugliese, Luca Onesti, Pierpaolo Pretelli, Francesco Chiofalo, Alex Caniggia, Pasquale Laricchia, Eva Grimaldi, Raffaella Fico, Denny Mendeze, Martina Maggiore, Zeudi Di Palma, Claudia Peroni and Michelle Veronesi, among others.
