Lissone and Piacenza advance new urban and traffic management plans

Municipal administrations in Lissone and Piacenza are advancing significant urban and mobility plans.

In Lissone, Mayor Laura Borella is presenting the General Urban Traffic Plan (PGTU) to the City Council. The plan aims to address urban mobility and reduce transit traffic, following previous political debates regarding limited traffic zones (ZTL) and speed reductions in the city center.

In Piacenza, the municipal government has introduced a new General Urban Plan (PUG) to replace the current PSC. Presented by Urban Planning Councilor Adriana Fantini, the proposal, titled ‘Prospettiva Piacenza’, focuses on four pillars: ecology, attractiveness, innovation, and reliability. The plan seeks to balance environmental protection with economic development, addressing issues such as soil consumption, urban regeneration, and the regulation of logistics and production sites.
