Listeria recall affects 66 Quebec meat products

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced a recall of 66 meat products sold under the Charcuterie Charlevoisienne and Joe Smoked Meat labels after detecting Listeria monocytogenes. The contamination was first identified in four items and later expanded to include the additional products. The CFIA reported that no illnesses have been linked to the recalled goods.

Consumers are advised to stop using the affected products and to return them to retailers for a refund or disposal. The recall aims to prevent any potential food‑borne illness associated with the bacterium.
