Literary authors launch new works in Bahia

Two literary works are being released in Bahia, Brazil. Journalist and writer Emiliano José is launching ‘O dinheiro rebaixa todos os deuses do homem’, a collection of articles and chronicles that explores the thought of Karl Marx through the lens of biographer José Paulo Netto. The book aims to assist in the dissemination of Marx’s ideas regarding economy and capitalist society.

Additionally, writer and critic Décio Torres Cruz is releasing a second edition of ‘Histórias roubadas’ at the Academia de Letras da Bahia. This expanded edition includes 25 short stories, featuring three new tales. The work is undergoing international expansion, with a Spanish translation already available and a French edition planned for release in Paris in 2027, alongside a planned Portuguese edition.
